At this point, none of CCEC's electricity comes from nuclear energy. The following are facts on the world's nuclear energy:
• More than 15% of the world's electricity comes from nuclear power.
• The United States, France and Japan account for 56.6% (as of 2005) of the world's nuclear generated electricity.
• The U.S. produces the most total nuclear energy, with nuclear power
providing 19% of the electricity it consumes.
• France has the highest percentage of electricity generated with nuclear
reaction at over 80%.
