Member Care Representative
Position Location: Fargo West Service Center
PURPOSE OF POSTION:
To efficiently and accurately process cash receipts and meter readings
To provide to members and general public a positive member-service experience when handling in-bound telephone traffic and personal visits, creating a feeling of good will toward the cooperative
To promote positive member and public relations and provide clerical support as requested.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school education required
Additional cashiering / business experience preferred
1 to 2 years of administrative and/or switchboard experience preferred
Organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities necessary
Valid driver’s license preferred
ABILITIES/SKILLS:
Will be required to work independently and with other team personnel.
Must have good communication, both oral and written, and good interpersonal skills.
Must be receptive to new ideas, procedures, and policies.
Must display a friendly attitude and disposition in working with members, co-workers, and the general public.
Compute and record numbers correctly, including cashiering duties
Follow procedures for keeping records
Use eye, hands and fingers at the same time to enter figures in books and forms, or to operate a calculator or personal computer
Perform work that is routine and detailed
Read and copy large quantities of numbers without error
WORKING CONDITION:
Normal office working conditions with regular office hours.
Overtime may at times be required.
